As a Christian church The Salvation Army in Preston seeks to be a strong caring community, and to serve, encourage and work alongside the wider community in the city.

Our new building was designed to provide a welcoming, multipurpose Community Centre for local residents and the people of Preston.

We run a number of activities and regular groups for different sections of the community, and are involved in partnerships and networks with other groups working for the welfare of local people, especially the needy.

We encourage and prioritise the use of the centre by groups serving the local community, and helping the disadvantaged.
